Editing, enabling or disabling a creative
Edit the creative assigned to an insertion using the Properties tab on the creative level.
From this tab you can edit the properties and the delivery status of creatives within insertions:
- Name: you can change the name of the creative assigned to the insertion. The default name is that entered when adding the creative to the Creative Library.
- Default Creative: the default creative for a given insertion will be delivered when the targeting/optimization criteria that are enabled on the insertion cannot apply (user information is unavailable or does not match any retargeting criteria…). The first creative assigned to an impression is set as the default creative. You can however set another creative as default. Generally, the default creative should be a generic creative with no targeting settings. It cannot be disabled. It is marked in the campaign tree view by a star/asterisk.
- Status Play/Pause: This button enables or disables the delivery of this creative for the insertion. In the tree view of the campaign, the status of the creative within an insertion is represented by a green (Play) or red (Pause) dot.
Multiple Changes:
When you edit one or more creatives assigned to different insertions simultaneously, the settings of the last selected insertion will be displayed.
When you edit a field, an icon appears in front of it to signify that the modification will be applied to all insertions selected. The number of insertions it applies to is displayed beside the title in the editing window and next to the “Edit selected” button.
Defining destination Urls for a creative
The Click URLs tab on the Creatives level defines the destination URLs for a creative assigned to an insertion.
This tab allows you to set the destination URLs (Click Urls) for creatives on an insertion.
The grey “Use campaign Url” entry indicates that the creative inherits the valid default Url from the insertion level. When you place your cursor in the field, the complete Url appears in black. You can edit it to define a specific Url for the insertion, in which case it will then appear directly in black.
If the creation contains additional clickTags (Extras), you can name them and define the Click URL for each. Click “+ ” to add an Extra. The default destination URL defined for each Extra is valid for the creative (whether it is defined or inherited).
When a creative is made up of several “ad positions”, they automatically appear in the form. You can thus define different Click URLs for each one. The “Apply to All Ad positions” checkbox at the top of the form, automatically applies the URL set for the 1st position to all Ad positions.
