Exporting reports

Export Report

The Export functionality is accessible from a link on the top –right corner of the page

Once you have clicked on Export, it will open a dialog box allowing saving and sending your report as well as automating its generation regular basis.

This dialog box is split in 3 parts

  1. The Export part
  2. The Advanced Options (collapsed by default) to schedule automated sending of your reports
  3. The buttons to manage different actions according to the needs
  • THE EXPORT PART

This part is where you will:

  • Define what you want to export selecting one of the following options:
    • The whole page (all information displayed in the reporting screen before clicking on the export button)
    • The top graph only (the timeline graph displayed in the reporting screen before clicking on the export button)
    • The explorer table only (the grid displayed at the bottom of the page in the reporting screen before clicking on the export button)
  • Define a name for you report (more especially if you want to save it in the custom reports part available in the main UI of the Reporting – not mandatory if you want to download your report only)
  • Define the language: French or English
  • Define if you want to get into your exported report a breakdown by conversion pages if any
  • THE ADVANCED OPTIONS

This part is collapsed by default.
If you want to display all details below you will just need to click on “Advanced Options” (when the details appear Advanced Options becomes “Close Advanced Options”).t

This part is where you will

  • Define all settings to schedule automated sending of your report
    • Custom date range (selected by default) will be the date range selected in the main UI of the reporting before clicking on the export button.
      Selecting this option will generate a unique sending without any other additional sending possible in the future
    • Prededfined date range & frequency.
      Selecting this option will allow you to select the report data range among a list of options: Yesterday, This week (Mon-Today), This week (Sun-Today), Last week (Mon-Sun), Last week (Sun-Sat), This month, Last month and to select the frequency among a list of options: Only now, Daily, Weekly, Monthly
  • Define to who you want to send the automated report adding the email address(es) in the To Line
  • There is predefined title and content for the email sent with the report but they can be edited
  • THE BUTTONS

There 4 buttons available: Download Only, Save, Send and Cancel

  • Download: An immediate download of your report in an excel formatting will be available. An excel pop-up will be displayed to finalized the downloading of the report (see below).
  • Save: All settings related to your exported report will be saved and your report will be displayed as a custom report accessible from the main UI of the reporting tab in the Custom Report part (bottom of the left navigation column below the top and second dimensions).
  • Send: All settings related to your exported report will be considered in the report sent using this button.
  • Cancel: All settings defined previously will be cancelled if you click on this button.
  • RECOMMENDATION:

If the selected time period is long or if your report contains lots of elements, we recommend you to send the report instead of downloading it.
