Editing multiple ad groups

The campaign tree view allows you have a full view on the campaign. It also allows selecting multiple ad groups to be edited simultaneously.

By default only the search account level is visible. The ad group can be expanded by clicking on the search account level .

Hover the mouse over a level to see the corresponding action menu .

The filter area above the tree view allows you to display only certain items: search by ad group, and filter search accounts and ad groups manually set up or synchronized.

On each level item line a colored dot displays the tracking status in WCM:

–          The dot indicates whether tracking has not yet started (gray), is running (green) or has been marked as ended (red).

–          On the ad group level, an icon represents the tracking setup mode of the ad group :

–         M: Manual setup

–        S: Synchronized

An alert icon may appear at different levels to indicate that a problem is detected in the set up or in gathering statistics.

  • Editing multiple ad groups

Use the check boxes to select multiple ad groups and edit them simultaneously. Use the check boxes on the Campaign and search account levels to select all the ad groups of the campaign or Search account .

Click the “Edit selected” button above the tree view to access the ad group Properties tabs and edit all the ad groups selected simultaneously. The settings of the last ad group selected appear in the forms within each tab. Non-editable fields do not appear.

Note : Beware that the default destination URLs cannot be edited when the adgroup tracking has been implemented through the synchronization.

It is only available when ‘Work on insertions’ is selected and provides an overview of the media plan and its key information.
