The reporting tabs lets you build, visualize and export customized reports within the interface. The different zones allowing you to customize the data presented on the interface are described below.
- Breadcrumb:
The breadcrumb shows up the top-dimensions, sub-dimensions and items selection you have made. It is clickable so that you can come back to your previous selection. - Date range selection (calendar):
The calendar situated on the top-right hand side lets you define the timeframe of your report. You can select one among the proposed date ranges or define your own custom. - Dimensions selection:
The vertical menu on the left hand-side let you select the top-dimension and the optional sub-dimension of the report.
The dimensions and sub-dimensions are the characteristics or aspects that you want to analyze. It can be either structural properties , i.e : a project, a campaign, a creative, an adgroup…, of your marketing campaigns or tracked attributes such a conversion pages, profiles, devices…
Each top-dimension comes with a set of sub-dimensions (automatically proposed when you click on a dimension on the menu).
You selection of dimensions is visible on the breadcrumb and applied to the reading zones defining the 2 levels of raws to be displayed on the standard view of the explorer table.
The ‘Project’ dimension is selected by default .
- Metrics selection:
The horizontal menu on top of the timeline representation lets you select the metrics (or indicators) that you want to analyze for the selected dimensions.
Metrics are gathered by groups to let you find and select them easily . Here are the metrics groups proposed :
Basic metrics
Performance metrics
Rich media metrics
Visibility metrics
Video metrics
Search metrics
Refer to the Metrics Definition part for more information on the metrics contained in each group.
You can navigate through metrics groups to pick metrics. The metrics selection conditions the metrics displayed in the explorer table colomns and the scorecard.
Note : The metrics are proposed according to the dimensions and sub-dimensions selected.
- Conversion pages and type filter:
The filter on the top-right hand side lets you filter the data presented according to the conversion attributes measured:
Conversion type ( i.e post-click/ post-interaction/ post-visibility/post- impression conversions).
By default the data presented takes into account all conversion types but you can select one or several conversion types. You also have the possibility to show the total data for the type selected or the breakdown per type.
Note: The post-visibility conversion type is available only if the visibility measurement has been activated on the Weborama Campaign Manager (WCM)account.
Conversion pages
By default the data presented takes into account all conversion pages but you can select one or several conversion pages. You also have the possibility to show the total data for the conversions pages selected or the breakdown per conversion pages.
- Timeline representation:
The timeline representation lets you customize the data representation over the timeframe selected for a specific time granularity.
Use the menus on top of the graphical zone to adjust the visualization:
Formatting :
The menu on top of the graphical zone lets you define the formatting of data visualized. Four graphical formatting are proposed (lines, columns, absolute stack, relative stack) as well as one data table corresponding to the details break out per time unit.
Details level
The second menu lets you define if you want to graph the data details breakdown or the total.
Time granularity
Lets you select the time unit of the representation. You can visualize data per hour, day, week, month or year.The time unit presented by default depends on the time frame selected. Since the data are consolidated by WCM on an hourly basis it corresponds to the smallest time unit possible.
Note: Hourly data may not be available for some set of metrics and dimensions, in particular for metrics retrieved through API synchronization with search platforms.
- Scorecard:
The metrics surfacing on the scorecard correspond to the metrics selected in metrics selection menu. The scorecard lets you visualize immediately for those metrics:
– the total number of the selection
– the average number for the selection
– the trend represented by a colored down or upper arrow
It also allows you to select metrics to be displayed on the timeline representation (you can only display 2 metrics at the same time).
- Explorer table:
The explorer table provides the detailed data of the report. It is customizable in order to let you fine-tune your analysis by selecting specific views. It also allows selecting elements to be compared in on the time line representation.
Navigation within the table
The elements displayed as rows in the standard views of the explorer table correspond to the top-dimension (level 1) and sub-dimension (level2) selected in the left vertical menu. You can however click on an element displayed as a row in the explorer tables to deep dive into it and display a sub-dimension or a more specific detailed view.
Examples:
– if the explorer table shows a ‘Channels’ single dimension table ‘, you can click on the row ‘ Display’ to show all the campaigns of the Display channel
– When clicking on specific campaign name you automatically open the ‘Campaign tree view ‘ 3 dimensions table of that campaign.
Views
The menu on the top left corner of the explorer table allows toggling between different views within the explorer table allowing different analysis.
– Standard view : default view showing data for a combination of a maximum of 2 dimensions
– Campaign tree view : shows data for all the dimensions of the campaign with the medium as the main top-dimension ( available for one campaign at once)
– Creative tree view : shows data for all the dimensions of the campaign with the creative as the main top-dimension ( available for one campaign at once, only for display campaigns)
– Conversions view : shows the complete details of all conversions line by line
– Search view : detail view for search campaigns surfacing data for the keywords, ads, placement dimensions
– Pivot table : allows crossed multi-dimensional analysis ( enabling to display dimensions on rows and columns )
– Graphical mode : integration of diagram surfacing a split based on metrics
Selection for comparison
The checkboxes on the line of the explorer table item allow selecting items to be compared on the timeline representation.
Tick the boxes then click on the ‘Plot selected ‘button below the table to display them on the timeline representation (you can select a maximum of 5 items).
Filter
The advanced filter enables you to fine-tune you analysis by excluding specific items of your report.
Columns organization
The columns surfacing in the explorer table correspond to the metrics selected in the metrics selection menu. If you have selected the conversion type or conversion pages breakdown in the conversion filter, the columns are displayed in accordance. The columns are also adapted to the specific views selected (Search / Pivot… ).You have the possibility to drag and drop the different columns to reorder them. When hovering over the columns headings a menu enabling to sort by ascending or descending order appears.
Pagination
The pagination lets you toggle between the different pages of the explorer table.
- Data export
Export Report
The Export link on the top –right corner of the page opens a dialog box allowing saving and sending your report as well as automating its generation regular basis. Refer to the ‘Exporting reports’ part for more information.
Permalink
The permalink on the top –right corner of the page let your share your report with different partners providing an URL pointing on the online interface.
